Our 2019 training will be held will be an intensive held over 2 weeks, May 5-11 and June 23-29. This course is registered with the Yoga Alliance.
The course will focus on the deepening of your personal practice and the art of teaching yoga. We will explore the physical body, the energetic body, and the mind, bringing the traditional practice into the modern context.
We will emphasize alignment from a functional movement perspective, and the safe hands-on assist to suit the individual. We will cover the full spectrum of yoga practice, with the intention of infusing yoga into our lives.
Karen combines Richard Freeman’s alignment-based Ashtanga yoga with the devotional classical vinyasa of Yogi Sri Dharma Mittra. She is a certified Buddhist meditation instructor, massage therapist and student of life.
The cost is $3000. If you have done the training before, you can repeat the course for 1/2 price; if you already have a YA 200-hour certification from another school, join us for $2000.
