Our next 200-hour alignment-based vinyasa yoga teacher training will be held in the spring of 2020. We will meet over 8 consecutive weekends, beginning May 2/3 and ending June 20/21. This course is registered with the Yoga Alliance.
The course will focus on the deepening of your personal practice and the art of teaching yoga. We will explore the physical body, the energetic body, and the mind, bringing the traditional practice into the modern context.
We will emphasize alignment from a functional movement perspective, and the safe hands-on assist to suit the individual. We will cover the full spectrum of yoga practice, with the intention of infusing yoga into our lives.
Karen combines Richard Freeman’s alignment-based Ashtanga yoga with the devotional classical vinyasa of Yogi Sri Dharma Mittra. She is a certified Buddhist meditation instructor, massage therapist and student of life.
The cost is $3000 and includes all books, materials, guest teachers and potential field trips. If you have done the training before, you can repeat the course for 1/2 price; if you already have a YA 200-hour certification from another school, join us for $2000.
Please contact Karen at email@example.com with questions or to apply.
