Emily’s motivation in teaching Pilates is to guide people toward feeling both strong and lengthened; lithe and supple. While many people have the impression that Pilates isn’t “hard,” Emily believes that if a person is ready and willing, Pilates is a phenomenal workout that sculpts and tones the body. While the practice is excellent for those recovering from injury, or simply looking for a non-impact workout, it is also an impressive system of movement for those looking to build enormous strength and control of their entire body.
