Perhaps cycling, mountain biking and hiking adventures or competitions top your summer bucket list but your body isn’t quite ready for your lofty goals. Or maybe you just want to lose some weight that snuck up on you somewhere along the way.

The Vail Vitality Center is offering Summer Focused Small Group Training that will help you achieve your goals.

Grab a few friends and commit to getting stronger and healthier in time for all of summer’s fun activities.

Each group is comprised of two to four people. The small group setting is perfect for those people who have struggled to maintain motivation on their own.

“When you do group training sessions like this, it’s fun and it really helps to keep people motivated,” said Katie Kukar, the Vail Vitality Center marketing manager.

The intensive training takes place over four consecutive weeks. Each week, your group will participate in five days of activities, including two days of yoga classes, two days of strength and conditioning and one day of spin training.

“Incorporating a balance of strength training, cardio and yoga is the healthiest way to keep it fun and see results,” Kukar said. “This program is designed to be very efficient for people who are struggling with weight loss.”

The weekly schedule is structured as so:

Mondays and Fridays: Strength training with a Vitality Center coach (coaches may vary each week, but workouts will be recorded and remain consistent).

Tuesdays and Thursdays: Yoga session.

Wednesdays: Spin sessions (rotating between a cycling and mountain biking focus).

The cost is $2,200 per groups 2-4 (includes full use of facility on the five days of training per week for any non-members). The package is available to purchase until July 17th.   Call 970-476-7960 to learn more.

The training takes place over four consecutive weeks from the start date.
