Paul began practicing yoga in 2000 in Nashville while training for marathons. His personal practice and teaching are in the vinyasa flow style, drawing extensively from the Ashtanga yoga system. His classes emphasize breath, alignment and yogic gaze (drishti) to develop concentration and help teach the practitioner to see the world as it really is.
Paul completed 200-hour teacher training in the fall of 2017. He has attended workshops led by Richard Freeman, Manju Jois, Dena Kingsberg, David Swenson and Tim Miller.
Paul’s classes are lighthearted, humorous, and fun with the well-being and needs of the individual student always at the forefront.
